I have a Lumia 800 as my secondary phone and only one thing disappoints me with it:
The abysmal sound quality. I carry an iPhone 4S as my primary phone, and the difference in sound quality is like night and day.
The lack of apps doesn't bother me. Good twitter clients are available, as are other apps I need.
The Windows Phone interface is original, and actually very logical and simple to use. I personally prefer iOS but WP7 would be my second choice. The camera is good, and as I never do video calling with my phone, the lack of a front facing camera doesn't matter.
The battery life is nowhere near what Nokia claim, but will last a day. It'll do.
Hardware wise, it is durable, stylish and even the packaging is appealing.
All in all, it's not bad.

Nokia's symbian phones are way better hardwarewise
They have bluetooth v3 instead of v2.1 in lumia.
Have secondary cam.
External memory slot expandable to 32gb.
No memory slot in lumia,Thats a serious mistake.Whats wrong with people at nokia.

Saw this phone yasterday, and this definately another phone users will repent after shelling there money, with a small screen nokia cannot earn and ignore competetion offered by samsung and htc, getting a phone with just similar prices of high end phones wont shine these guys, almost every phone is resting in nokia service station for repare.

those 25gb skydrive storage disc is only to synchronise your datas.
Since Lumia 800 is not capable of playing videos directly from website like gs2, ip4s or other smart fones.
you can never watch videos, hear music or read your notes from skydrive stored.
You have to download it back to your handset, free memory
in card slot OR free fone memory is a must for
downloading and replaying
your videos, music, etc.

This Lumia 800 is chutia 800. I still don't know why Nokia is running after windows when already they have meego at their disposal.
Even if you go on to compare lumia 800 (or say chutia 800) with Nokia N9, latter has better specifications and has got a better operating system than any other phone.
Talking about the specifications, this lumia 800 do not even has inbuilt support for DivX codecs... in which era are we living? No front camera, not even 3.9' screen (only 3.7'), only 512 MB RAM (as opposed to 1GB RAM in case of N9).
You take my words, this lumia 800 is going to fail like bad movies fail at the box office.

I guess with the windows support being dropped, there's a software bug that'll never be fixed and so we're out of luck. Windows phones were a very good concept.

I am searching for new nokia mobile. I have heard about Nokia lumia and liked it. But one problem I am facing in nokia mobiles(https://youmobile.com.pk/brands/7/Nokia-­mobile-prices-in-Pakistan) as it's interface is not soo much good it is not user friedly and catchy.. And it also don't have android that is the main issue because there are many users of nokia in Pakistan and they have to use android so hope they will work on it
